Emergencies can occur unexpectedly and require immediate, effective responses to ensure the safety of everyone on site. This page provides general guidelines on what to do in case of various emergencies within our brewery operations. Familiarize yourself with these procedures to ensure quick and efficient action when needed.
Remain calm and assess the situation.
Avoid rushing or panicking, which can exacerbate the situation.
Follow posted evacuation routes and gather at designated assembly points.
Assist others in exiting the building, especially those who are disabled or unfamiliar with the premises.
Do not use elevators during an evacuation.
Immediately notify the appropriate emergency personnel (e.g., managers) using the established communication channels.
Activate the nearest manual alarm pull station if the situation warrants an evacuation.
Once at the assembly point, check in with your supervisor or headcount coordinator.
Report anyone missing or potentially trapped inside to emergency responders.
If a fire occurs, leave the area immediately if you are not trained to handle fire extinguishers.
Close doors behind you to help contain the fire.
Assemble at the evacuation point and do not re-enter the building until it is declared safe by emergency personnel.
Remain in place if safe, as power may return momentarily.
If evacuation is necessary, use flashlights or emergency light sources. Do not light matches or use open flames.
Secure sensitive equipment and shut down processes if possible.
For minor spills that you are trained to handle, use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and clean-up kits.
For major spills, evacuate the area and alert emergency responders. Seal off the area to prevent further contamination.
Call for medical help immediately using the designated emergency numbers.
Provide first aid if you are trained and it is safe to do so.
Do not move the injured person unless they are in immediate danger.
